Menopause

Thankfully, menopause is becoming more widely talked about and understood, but we still have a long way to go in our acceptance, knowledge and openness around it.

Here, we aim to bring you factual information to cut through the confusion, support through expert advice and lived experience, plus essential information on how to deal with menopause in the workplace and how to support colleagues, friends and family. Menopause is something we should all know about, whether you’re experiencing it or not, so we can engage and support those who are.

It’s also important to note that some trans men and non-binary people may experience menopause if they keep their ovaries and do not alter their hormone profile. Where possible, we will keep our language inclusive, but when quoting some experts, research and occasionally for simplicity, ‘women’ will often be referenced.
