Anyone can experience abuse by their partner. One in four women and one in six men will experience domestic abuse during their life. Anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse, regardless of age, financial circumstances, race, gender or sexual orientation. No one is immune and yet - people often believe that abuse is something that could never happen to them.
