This Cohen Perceived Stress Scale is one of the most widely used psychological instruments for measuring the perception of stress. Below, you’ll be given a series of questions (just ten in total) that are designed to measure the degree to which you find various situations in your life stressful. You’ll be asked how often you felt or thought a certain way. Most people find the best approach is to answer the questions fairly quickly without thinking about your previous answer – some of the questions feel quite similar but they’re designed to give a true reflection on your perceived stress levels. After you’ve completed it, you’ll be given a percentage stress rating, followed by guidance on how to manage your stress levels.
