“My name is Amanda Whiteman and I’m a Sales Advisor at River Island in Halifax. I’ve been in my current role for just over two years. I found out about the Retail Trust through my managers and had a look online at what they do and services they offer.
“My mum passed away suddenly and obviously funeral expenses can be quite a lot when it all adds up so I visited the the Retail Trust website to have a look at the grants they offer. There’s a section for emotional grants that can help with a number of things including funeral expenses so I applied for the grant to help with mum’s funeral.
“The Retail Trust made the application easy and each step is updated on the grants portal. After just over a week I was accepted for a grant to help with the costs. The Retail Trust were informative, helpful and I can’t recommend them enough to people.
