The health and safety of our event attendees has been and remains our highest priority. In line with latest government guidance and the Association of Event Organisers, the Retail Trust has taken the decision to verify attendee COVID-19 status on arrival.
This means that all attendees will need to demonstrate proof of COVID-19 status for entry to the event.
You will need to provide ONE of the following:
- Proof of completing a full course of vaccination two weeks prior to arrival.
OR
- Proof of a negative lateral flow test result, taken within 48 hours of arrival.
OR
- Proof of natural immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period.
Whilst it’s not mandatory if you are double vaccinated, we kindly ask that you complete and show proof of a negative lateral flow test 48 hours before the event takes place.
If you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the event and follow the government advice by staying at home and taking a PCR test.
Frequently asked questions
When do I need to show my proof of COVID-19 status?
Upon entry to the event please have your proof of COVID-19 status ready. This will be checked and once verified you will be given a wristband to enter the event.
How do I collect my badge?
Once you have received your COVID-19 wristband, please present your registration QR code (that will have been sent via email in advance) which will be scanned and you will then be given a badge to enter the event.
How do I show proof of completing a full course of vaccination?
You need to show your NHS COVID pass via the NHS app (including the downloadable PDF). Please ensure you download the app or PDF prior to arrival as it can take a few minutes to process. If you cannot access your COVID pass then you must show a negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of arrival.
How do I show the proof of a negative lateral flow test?
Prior to the event, please order a lateral flow test from the government website. Once you have taken the test you need to enter your results on the government website. You will then receive an SMS or email with your result which you can present on arrival. Please allow two to three days for this to arrive and ensure you take the test within 48 hours before arrival.
How can I show the results of my PCR test?
If you need to show proof of a PCR test you can order it through the government website.
Do I need to wear a face mask?
It is not mandatory to wear a face mask or to social distance at the event, however please do be responsible and social distance or wear a mask where it feels appropriate.
I am yet to be vaccinated or have only received one vaccine, can I not attend?
You can still attend the event if you are yet to receive your second vaccine or haven’t been vaccinated at all, but you must complete either a lateral flow test or PCR test (taken within 48 hours prior to arrival) and show proof of a negative test upon entry to the event.
Do you accept EU digital COVID certification?
We will accept EU digital COVID certificates, or you can show proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of arrival.
